A new edition of Readmagine is coming, with a focus on accessibility

Conferences

Between 7 and 9 June Madrid will host the 2023 edition of Readmagine, the multi-day event organized annually by the Germán Sánchez Ruipérez Foundation (FGSR) in Casa del Lector to talk about digital innovation in reading, books, and libraries.

Participants can join workshops, conferences, and meetings to explore the transformation processes of books and reading. The event, set in a friendly and informal atmosphere, allows professionals from different publishing segments to get in touch with digital media, urbanism, fashion, marketing, video gaming and other sectors.

This year, the last day of the initiative will be dedicated to two events that will focus on specific themes: The next gen book by Canon with four sessions focused on sustainability of the publishing industry and the Accessibility Camp by Fondazione LIA.

Program and details

You can read the complete program of the event at the dedicated page on Readmagine’s website.

Attendance is free, through invitation issued by FGSR and IPDA (Asociación de Distribución de Publicaciones internacional) or by registering at the event.

The sessions are held in English and they are not streamed online. Those who cannot attend can have access to presentations and round tables recordings on the event website, but the presence is recommended by the organizers to live the real Readmagine experience

A focus on accessibility

The Readmagine rich program will also include a seminar by Fondazione LIA, which will take place on Wednesday:
