NNELS (the National Network for Equitable Library Service, a digital public library of books for Canadians with print disabilities) organizes the Accessible Publishing Summit 2022. The event is now in its fourth edition and involves the various stakeholders of the international publishing value chain.
In past editions, the Summit was held behind closed doors and gathered experts by invitation from all over the world. A big news of the 2022 edition is that NNELS has decided to make some sessions open to the public.
The Summit will be held from February 16th to 18th: the first two days will be dedicated to the evolution of trends in the accessible publishing sector and the last day working groups of experts will discuss on more technical topics.
In particular, Cristina Mussinelli (LIA Secretary General) has been invited to present LIA experience and work during the International perspectives panel, hel on February 17th at 9.15 AM Pacific Time. On the same day at 10.30 AM Pacifi Time, Gregorio Pellegrino (LIA Chief Accessibility Officer) will partecipate in a closed panel discussion on metadata for accessibility.
The sessions in the list below are public and will be live-streamed to the NNELS YouTube page. All times are Pacific.
The recordings of the public sessions are now available on NNELS YouTube channel.
