How to write alternative descriptions for the images

Description

Publishing has always used illustrations and visual representations to enrich and offer content to readers. Images communicate messages that are essential to understand the sense of a text. However, if they do not have an alternative description, they are completely “silent” for visually impaired readers, thus inaccessible. To allow everyone to access all the contents of a book, the alternative description of the images, which can be read with common assistive technologies, is one of the essential elements.
