2026 ABC International Excellence Award for Accessible Publishing. Shortlist announced
Novità
The Accessible Books Consortium has announced the shortlist for the 2026 ABC International Excellence Award for Accessible Publishing.
The ABC Award is the most prestigious award for accessibility in the publishing industry and is now in its eleventh edition. Each year, a publisher and an initiative are selected for their leadership and achievements in promoting the accessibility of e-books and digital publications for people with print disabilities and visual impairments.
In 2025, the winner of the Initiative category was the APACE project, coordinated by Fondazione LIA, for “its collaborative model and its critical role in preparing the publishing sector for the European Accessibility Act”. We are very pleased that the Italian publisher Zanichelli is among the finalists for the 2026 edition, as we have enjoyed a fruitful partnership for many years.
The winners will be announced during the Bologna Children’s Book Fair Awards ceremony held during the gala dinner at the Palazzo Re Enzo in Bologna, Italy on April 13, 2026.
