Ask the Expert. Pilot Projects and their results

Events

In the framework of APACE, six Accessibility Pilot Projects have been developed. Their goal was to explore and experiment with new innovative approaches for the creation of fully accessible publications. These Pilots have fostered collaboration between publishers and accessibility experts, two professional communities whose synergy is essential for advancing accessibility in the publishing industry.

Ask the Expert. The Pilots’ Results

In this session, Dedicon’s accessibility and image specialist Anke Kersten and Vincas Grigas, Head of scholarly journals Vilnius University Press will present the results of their Pilot Projects. Each project served as a testing ground for new workflows, tools, and collaborative models capable of making even the most complex publications accessible.

The event will be hosted by Katie Durand (Fédération des Aveugles et Amblyopes de France).
