Women in ICT standardisation. A webinar

StandICT.eu is launching the fifth edition of its Women in ICT Standardisation webinar, a significant recurring events dedicated to the role of women in European ICT standardisation. This year’s edition, scheduled for March 20, brings together an expanded coalition of partners: alongside StandICT.eu, the event is co-organised with the EU-funded projects ELASTIC (SNS JU funded project)EDU4StandardsCYBERSTAND.euSEEBLOCKS.eu alongside the Women in Telecommunications and Research (WiTaR) working group of the 6G-IA.

This webinar series has been one of StandICT.eu’s flagship inclusive initiatives. The event’s primary goal is to highlight the essential role women play in ICT standardisation, showcasing their success stories, achievements, and contributions to key technical and policy documents. The discussion will explore challenges and opportunities, identify concrete pathways for greater inclusion and impact.

Cristina Mussinelli, Secretary General of Fondazione LIA, has been invited to participate as one of the featured speakers. She will join a panel of leading experts contributing their experience to the session dedicated to women’s stories and contributions in ICT standardisation.
