Accessibility webinar

A unique opportunity for Educational Publishers Forum members to become aware of the potential offered by the creation of accessible publications, websites and reading solutions.

TOWARDS THE EUROPEAN ACCESSIBILITY ACT

As the European Accessibility Act is coming into force for publishing products and services in June 2025, all publishers are called to develop an accessibility roadmap and acquire the appropriate skills. Accessibility will need to be built into workflows and into the value chain. A ‘born accessible’ mindset for e-books, websites, apps, and platforms will be essential.

The webinar will provide a clear and complete overview of what is digital accessibility as well as the legal, social, and commercial motivations to embrace it. Participants will become aware of:

  • The legislative framework;
  • The Born Accessible principle and its adoption by a publishing house
  • The accessibility journey of a print impaired reader;
  • LIA training solutions;
  • Q&A.

This two-hours event will be held in a date yet to be defined in the second part of April.

We welcome one person from every organization: reserve your spot.
